How check-in works

  1. 1. Arm it before you go

    Pick how often you'll check in (6, 12, 24 or 48 hours), a grace period, quiet hours for sleeping, and at least one emergency contact. Contacts get a verification link first.

  2. 2. Tap “I'm OK” when reminded

    A reminder arrives an hour before you're due, on Telegram and in the app. Any message you send, any tap, any visit counts as a check-in — it's meant to be effortless.

  3. 3. If you can't, we escalate

    Miss the check-in and the grace period, and your verified contacts receive an SMS and an email: your name, when you were last heard from, your last shared city, and a link to say “I'm handling it”. When you check in, they're told you're safe within a minute.

What your contacts receive

Exactly this, and nothing else:

  • Your display name
  • That you haven't checked in, and since when — shown in their own time zone
  • Your last shared location at the precision you chose: a city name, or coordinates with a map link
  • One link to acknowledge that they're on it

What they never receive

  • Coordinates, if you chose city precision
  • Your itinerary, bookings or notes
  • Anything at all before they verify, or after they opt out
  • Anything while you're checking in on time

Location is stored only when you share it — a Telegram location message or a tap in the app. There is no background tracking.

An assistant that knows where you are in the trip

Ask about things to do, customs, transport, safety or the weather and the answer comes with sources and with your trip in mind — the right city, the right day, the local time. It runs on Telegram and in this app, so it works on the phone you already carry.
